How many years has it been since we’ve seen a Civic hatchback from Honda? Too many, that’s for sure.
With this all new Civic, Honda has brought back the hatch and this time it’s in five door form. Based on the sedan, the hatch has nearly the same roofline, but is 130 millimetres shorter in length. Powered exclusively by Honda’s new 1.5-litre turbo four, there is your choice of a six-speed manual or a CVT, and the hatch is as comfortable and as dynamically confident as its sedan and coupe siblings. The best news is that the upcoming Si and Type R models will be based on this excellent hatchback.
