Nissan’s Micra Cup is a spec racing series using Canada’s least expensive car. Fully built, a ready-to-race Micra will cost you a tick less than $20,000 – a surprisingly low price for any sort of racer.

Here’s a video of my opening laps of the first-ever Nissan Micra Cup race.

The inaugural season’s taken place in Quebec, Canada, with grids in the mid-twenties, and with support coming from Nissan and NISMO global, racers and racing fans around the world are becoming familiar with this hyper-competitive racing series.

Heck, even Radio Le Mans interviewed me about my experience running the first two Micra Cup races. Fast forward to 23:00 to listen to me blather on with Hindy about this mega championship.
