If you’re a fan of the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, this is the year to visit. This 2017 show is a major shift and we think it’s the best it’s ever been.
From the global debut of the mind-bending Aston Martin AM RB-001 hypercar to launches of a number of more mainstream vehicles and nearly endless eye candy for all car enthusiasts, the Canadian International Auto Show now lives up to the international part of its name.
Motor racing fans will want to see a breathtaking selection of historic Formula One cars in the Canadian Grand Prix exhibit. Right next door to the priceless racers is a hall filled with contemporary exotics, including the stunning Bugatti Chiron that’s finished in blue carbon fibre.
Perhaps our favourite car in the show is the brilliant Porsche 911 restoration by Singer Vehicle Design, commissioned by Pfaff, the well known Toronto area auto dealer group. It’s more work of art than automobile.
All major automakers are represented at the show, and both North and South halls are filled with the latest vehicles of all shapes and sizes. Here’s a small taste of the amazing machinery on display.
